Why we are saying NO to incinerators in Norfolk
NAIL2 (Norfolk against Incineration & Landfill) is intent on stopping incineration and landfill by raising public concern and awareness about the harmful effects on both health and countryside, and promoting Zero Waste as an alternative solution to waste. |

Changes to European law means that waste being disposed of in landfill must be reduced. This has prompted the Norfolk County Council to investigate building incinerators in Norfolk
We believe that Norfolk County Council could do better. Waste should not be burnt, but reduced, re-used and recycled.
There are 3 areas of concern regarding incineration: health, environment and our wallets. |
